  9. Craigslist, StubHub & Scalping

Every year, some of our fans think that buying a wristband via Craigslist, StubHub, or any broker site will save them some cash and allow them to access the festival. Unfortunately, many of these are either already used or are counterfeits. Once a wristband has changed hands from its original owner, there is nothing we can do to remedy any issues.

If you want 100% confidence, you must purchase your Passes at lollapalooza.com/tickets every single time.

Often times, fans will try to sell their wristbands to others if they cannot attend a certain day. Unfortunately, the removing of a wristband automatically voids it. Our security team will ensure that every wristband has not been tampered with. If caught, you will be escorted away from the festival grounds.

  10. Late Night Show Tickets

Official Lollapalooza Late Night Shows are another way to enjoy more live music! They happen in Chicago and surrounding cities. You do not need an Lollapalooza Festival Wristband to attend these shows.

Check out this year's Official Lollapalooza Late Night Shows and buy tickets here.

  2. What Happens If I Don't Create a MyLolla Account?

Basically, you can continue to use the entire site, listen to the music player, learn about bands, see when they are playing, participate in contests and all that jazz without ever interacting with MyLolla. But you'd be missing out (and who wants to do that?). Signing up for MyLolla lets you customize and compare your ideal festival weekend and keeps you up-to-date with what's happening around Grant Park during the weekend. Signing up for MyLolla does not sign you up for our e-mail list.

And no, signing up for MyLolla doesn't mean we'll bug you with unwanted updates. You're in control and you can customize as much as you want to.

  3. What Is the Difference Between "E-List" And "MyLolla"?

MyLolla is how you customize your entire Lollapalooza experience. It is how you create a Custom Schedule, Custom Lineup and Custom Festival. Anything you add will be added to your customized MyLolla on lollapalooza.com.

To stay even more connected to what's happening with Lollapalooza, sign up for our E-list to receive email updates directly to your e-mail inbox about:

    • Official Late Night Show
    • Artist giveaways
    • Super-special deals
    • Updates on future festival tickets to get a head start!
  4. How Do I Sign In To MyLolla?

  5. What Can I "Add" To MyLolla?

Anything that has a "+" or "+ ADD" button. This can include, but not limited to:

    • Bands on the Lineup Page
    • Individual Artist Pages
    • Set Times from the Schedule Page

Keep an eye out for the "+" or "+ ADD" and make sure to click that button. Once you add something to MyLolla, you will see the green bar on the left light up. This means your time has successfully been added to your MyLolla so that you can stay updated with special notifications.

You can always remove something from MyLolla as quickly as you can add it. Just look out for the "-" or "- REMOVE" button.

  6. What Is The Music Player?

The music player is a collection of Soundcloud tracks from artists appearing at Lollapalooza. It will stream continuously as you navigate throughout different pages of the website. You can activate the player without being signed into MyLolla, either by clicking the play button on the left side of this page, on the Lineup or Schedule Page or any Band's Page.

We chose Soundcloud to source all music tracks so that the artists could decide what music they wanted to share and so you wouldn't have to create any other accounts to listen to it. As more artists add tracks to Soundcloud, we'll add them to lollapalooza.com.

  7. MyLolla Custom Page Privacy

  12. I Have a Question About Wristband Activation Not Answered Here.
  1. How Does Lolla Cashless Work?

It’s easy! You just need to take three simple steps:

    • Activate your festival pass with the unique ID located on the wristband during which time you will also have the option to link your credit card to your wristband and set a required PIN for security. Now you’re registered for Cashless too!
    • Next, order at any bar location and select vendors, and let them know you are paying with your wristband.
    • Then tap your wristband, add a tip amount, enter your PIN, and go!
  2. What Are Lolla Cashless Benefits?
    • Save time and easy to use!
    • No need to carry cash or a credit card.
    • Accepted at all bars, food vendors, and festival merchandise tents.*

*Art Market Vendors will only accept cash and cards, so if you plan to shop there please bring one of those alternative payment options with you to the festival.

  3. Do I Have to Sign Up for Cashless and Pay With My Wristband in Order to Activate It?

No. While we certainly think it’s the best payment option, you can activate your wristband without enabling the Cashless payment option.

  4. I Already Activated My Wristband, But Missed Lolla Cashless. What Should I Do?

Don't stress! Visit the Wristband Activation tent by Buckingham Fountain, and our staff can help you add Lolla Cashless and set your PIN right there!

For more immediate assistance before the festival, please contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, or by calling their friendly support team at 888.512.SHOW (7469) Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.

  5. Are There Any Additional Fees for Using My Lolla Cashless Wristband?

Nope! It is free to sign up and free to use!

  6. Can I Link Multiple Credit or Debit Cards to My Wristband?

No. You will only be able to link a single credit or debit card to your wristband.

  7. Can I Link the Same Card to Multiple Wristbands?

Yes. If you wish to allow your card to be linked to multiple wristbands, you certainly can. Each wristband will require a separate PIN. The PIN must be entered when using the wristband to purchase anything participating in the Cashless program at the festival.

  8. Will My Wristband Run Out of Money?

Not unless the card you linked it to does. No funds are stored to the wristband, it’s just linked to your credit or debit card. As long as you could still use your card, you will still be able to use your Cashless wristband.

  9. Is My Credit Card Information Stored on My Wristband?

No. We do not actually store any financial data on the wristband. The PIN you choose upon Cashless registration will always be required to make a purchase. However your card number and billing details are not stored on the wristband. So don’t worry about someone snagging your info.

  10. Is Lolla Cashless Secure?

Yes! It works in conjunction with your credit card so it carries all the same security features and protection. You will also set a PIN during registration (just like a debit card), so no one else will be able to use your wristband or your Cashless Account without your PIN.

  11. What Happens if My Wristband is Damaged?

First, don’t panic. We can help! Bring your damaged wristband to a Ticket Help Tent at the festival (located at the Box Office and entrance/exit gates) and we can replace any activated wristband after verifying your ownership. You will have to re-link your credit card for security purposes. Then you will be back in action!

    Handicap

  3. Lollapalooza Access Center

Our Access Center is located inside the festival grounds on Columbus Dr. just west of Buckingham Fountain. It is clearly marked on the festival map.

Our Access Center services include, but not limited to:

    • Answers to questions specific to the Access Program
    • Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities
    • Programming information in large print for reference
    • Power outlet for recharging power wheelchairs

  4. ADA Wristband Program

Visit the Access Center for information on our wristband program. If you have mobility impairments or are Deaf or Hard of Hearing you can request a specially colored wristband at the Access Center. This wristband is to show our team that you (plus one companion) are eligible to enter the wheelchair platform or the Deaf and Hard of Hearing areas.

Note: the wristband does not guarantee a spot in these areas. Both areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The wristband is non-transferable.

  5. Patrons with Mobility Limitations

The Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages. Also, it is an outdoor music festival situated in a park. Therefore, most travel is over natural terrain. If it should rain, there will be mud in some places.

We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed.

Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with wheelchair platform locations identified. The wheelchair platform areas are reserved at all times for people with mobility impairments plus one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.

  6. American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation Performances

We provide many American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted music performances for patrons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Write access@lollapalooza.com to request specific shows be interpreted. The deadline to request an interpretation is the second Friday of the month prior to the festival each year. Requests submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Check back in the weeks leading up to the festival for a full line up of shows that will be interpreted.

Please visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with Deaf/Hard of Hearing areas identified. The designated areas are reserved only for Deaf/Hard of Hearing patrons and one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  7. Special Dietary Needs

Outside food and drink (except for bottled water) is not allowed in the festival, but if a patron has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. You will be asked to present your doctor’s note to security upon entry to the festival.

A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact location). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

  8. Service Animals at Festival

Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds. Service animal inquiries can be sent to access@lollapalooza.com.
