I think I forgot one: Colby College.

And thanks for the good wishes!  If I don't get into Brown, hopefully I'll be accepted to Gtown, Middlebury, Davidson, or Rice.  I didn't even like Rice when I visited the first time, but I want to give it a second chance.

Oh groovy,
this has turned into another manders' college thread.

Somebody talk about the weather.

Its effing cold.

So, I've been battling the 1-2 punch of pneumonia and bronchitis since Wednesday... and the boy doesn't make it to his show last night in KC because he's got the flu and bronchitis.  Gets on IM tonight with the nerve to tell me that he is (jokingly) blaming me for the cough.  I'm all "Hey buddy, I don't have the flu though."

And now I've got the flip flopping chills/sweats.  Is it fair if he blames me for the bronchitis and I blame him for the flu?

Whoa... the double whammy of flu and bronchitis?
Even an extra dry martini won't cure that!
Fucking A

Take care of yourself!

I am indeed working on that.  I wouldn't wish this.. on anyone really.

However it has now given me an excellent reason to not go to *any* of those superbowl parties I didn't want to go to (but felt obligated to make an appearance at anyway).

I think I'm going to sleep a bit, and spend some time with Christian Bale as a cowboy during the game.  That surely would make me feel better.

Very important question:

What kids show (from the late '80s, early '90s or whenever) was always ended with everyone singin a song that goes "Skinnamarenky dinky dink, skinnamarenky doooo, I love you." blah blah blah "I love you in the morning and in the afternoon, I love you in the evening and under the moon" or some shit.

This is driving me nuts.

Man, I was before Nick Jr's time.  I watched shows like Today's Special, and Pinwheel.

Oh man, Bill Cosby with the picture pages... and that magic pen that made wheedliewheedliewheedlie noises.

I TOTALLY hated that show. It was one of the few on Nick that I didn't watch.

My faves were "Salute Your Shorts," "Pete & Pete," "Hey Dude," "Clarissa," "Alex Mack," etc.

You're right, but I have absolutely NO recollection of ever watching this show. Weird...

I was big on Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, the original version of Are You Afraid of the Dark, Roundhouse and Pete and Pete.  I love the fact that the girl that played Nora was so incredibly nerdy on it, and turned into Miss Hottie Michelle Trachtenberg.  And how the creepy icecream guy was Michael Stipe.

Didn't I say I was going to bed a while ago?

When I was 10, we went to Florida for vacation and I got to sit on the Snick couch.  Then the security guard told me to get back on the other side of the rope.

And don't forget about how Iggy Pop played Mona's dad on "Pete & Pete."
