Gemini Club is Dan Brunelle, Tom Gavin, Ryan Luciani and Gordon Bramli, a four-piece electronic influenced indie-rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Their unique live shows have been tearing up the scene for the last three years as they have become a "not-to-miss" live phenomenon. Far from the conventional live performance, Gemini Club have enhanced their live appearances with a specially designed rig that allows for on-the-fly remixing of their own songs, meaning each Gemini Club show is different from the last. This unique musical adventure at each of their shows has resulted in them being asked to the support the likes of Chromeo, A-Trak, Two Door Cinema Club, The Sounds, The Naked and Famous, Metric, Miami Horror and Chateau Marmont.
Their first single, "Ghost" came out hot in the blogosphere, which has resulted in remixes from Hey Champ, Barretso, Golden Bug and Only Children. The track was also picked up for air play from BBC Radio 1's tastemaker show "In New DJs We Trust." In 2013 Gemini Club was one of the most played and blogged about artists on Hype Machine, and their single "Sparklers" quickly rose to #2 on Sirius XM's Alt Nation to kick off 2014, and has been a mainstay on the channel ever since. Gemini Club and their hit "Sparklers" also became a Red Bull Sound Select featured artist and track, resulting in a video collaboration and a headline national tour.
From the mid-west to the Orient, Gemini Club's own remix chops are in demand online and across the globe. Their remix for Australian band The Vanish went straight into the top ten of Hype Machine's charts. The band's spin on "Cold Dust Girl" entered the same top ten charts on five different occasions within a month - and their remix for Shinichi Osawa has been a mainstay on the iTunes dance charts in Japan. Most recently, GC's remix of Chilly Gonzales premiered on the RCRD LBL blog as the most downloaded track of the week.
Gemini Club have been hard at work on new material that is sure to keep people's feet moving at their concerts and on dance floors everywhere!
