Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom, otherwise knows as DJ-duo Dada Life emerged from the Swedish music scene in 2010 to become a worldwide electronic music phenomenon.
Dada Life’s popularity has exploded across the globe in the past year; inciting riots at their LA show at Avalon last fall. People took to the streets when there were more people who wanted to attend than the club could handle.
Bloggers after the show reported: “I even heard Dada Life was denied entrance, obviously in hindsight it was for a good reason. But you know what? Props to Dada Life for causing such a ruckus by coming to Los Angeles, they deserve some points for this.”
Dada Life has enormous success on all of their social media platforms. They’ve developed a Facebook fan base of over 375,500, have more than 185,500 followers on Twitter and nearly 38 Million total views on YouTube.
Dada Life’s live success has expanded to the festival circuit where they’ve had show stealing sets at Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and Coachella, where they debuted their new, long awaited live show production. Their shows in North America have been selling out months in advance with crowds camping out.
In the fall of 2012 Dada Life embarked on the massive Dada Land headlining tour, their biggest tour to date. The tour hit 40 cities across the US and Canada, playing to over 100,000 fans complete with 8,000 lbs. of bananas and 3,000 bottles of champagne. Dada Life rang in 2013 with a massive sold-out event at the previously undisclosed Dada Land compound in Brooklyn, NY.
Dada Life has dominated the Beatport charts with massive singles such as “White Noise / Red Meat,” “Unleash the F**king Dada,” ”Happy Violence,” “Rolling Stones T-Shirt,” “Feed The Dada”, “So Young So High” and “Kick Out The Epic Motherf**ker”, a double platinum selling single.
In October 2012 the duo released their highly anticipated album, “The Rules of Dada,” to massive praise from both critics and fans. The album quickly reached #1 on the iTunes Dance charts while cracking the Top 10 overall in Canada and Top 20 overall in the US.
On top of the success of their originals, Dada Life has done remixes for the likes of Madonna, Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Lady Gaga, Afrojack and Justin Bieber.
